Teton Machine Company recently completed a re-registration audit of our Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2008 standards. Teton Machine originally became ISO 9001 registered in 2005. This audit was to insure our Quality Management System remains in compliance with the standard and is continuously improving. Remaining ISO registered requires regularly scheduled internal audits and periodic surveillance audits as well. You can learn more about ISO at the following link (ISO Standards)

The audit consisted of two and half days of reviewing our written business processes and verifying the processes by interviewing Teton employee-owners on the job. The audit resulted in a recommendation that certification should be continued. Tim Landerville, Lead Auditor for TRC Inc, recorded the following observations, “The Quality Management System is fully implemented and has complete support from top management.” and “The metrics being obtained and analyzed are of World Class nature for a company of this size. It is obvious that top Management uses the QMS as a business sustainability tool.”
